For this dress I was inspired by the economic meltdown. In these uncertain times I wanted to create a dress that is strong but versatile at the same time. To give the slowdown a careful boost you have two dresses on top of each other for the price of one! The black stretch velvet lining gives it a strong appeal but the sheer black organza on the outside makes it versatile too. Wear it with a bold statement necklace and some high heels or boots. Here’s hoping for a short recession and cheer yourself up with this Short Recession dress!

This dress has a very fitted shape and comes in soft black velvet with elastic at the waist. The second layer of organza is stitched into a balloon at the hem and the neckline is loose from the velvet.
